You can use contact cement @koendb but that can make it harder to remove, if need be.
Or possibly a rubber adhesive… -

Regarding the gaps, perhaps you could blend the join a bit after gluing on the neck. Filler will be visible.. -

It looks like there’s more then enough meat on that fretboard no? @koendb Yeah I think there is enough on there to rectify the problem. I quite like the yellow dots now they are in, it’s a dramatic contrast.
