Cut my first ever f hole today and glued the plate on the headstock

Well that’s my 2nd bass sorted
 

Smoothed off the sharp edges and started the finishing
 

@somethingnicer Most of that will be removed when carving the neck too so don’t worry to much. I doubt anyone will ever notice once the build is finished.

Bit more progress, bridge fitted, pickup and control cavities done, headstock done and control cavity cover.
 

Got the neck pocket sorted, managede to rout a small angle in it too so I can keep the fretboard lower while still having enough height at the bridge. Also shaped the body at the pocket. Going to knock a…   Read more»
