@kalimar Bummer! If the shank on the router bit is dirty or scratched it can work itself loose. Sometimes you can hear it happen and manage to stop in time.

thanks @swepri. I did that "random pattern" rosette on my last build too and I am really liking the end result. I think it may become my "thing" on my guitars... or at least some variation of that. 🙂

@kalimar That taper jig looked more complicated than the whole guitar build. 😀 Good tools does half the job, as we say in Sweden.

I finally found it on Udemy! It's in the section on gluing the body blanks! Take the new razor blade and scrape it on a sharpening stone. It creates a burr which helps with scraping! Cheers!
