I recall @markbailey providing a tip for how to make a disposable razor into an awesome scraper/planer and I can't find it again on udemy. Can anyone either point me to the session or just share how it's done?

I finally found it on Udemy! It's in the section on gluing the body blanks! Take the new razor blade and scrape it on a sharpening stone. It creates a burr which helps with scraping!
