Selecting wood from the scrap pile for my practice build body. It’s 35 mm thick so I should be able to plane the holes out and join two bits. It used to be as school bench.

@tej looks like you have put the clamps directly onto the headstock. Putting a solid block in between would be needed if you start with a thinner veneer. Moisture in the glue can cause a thin piece to curl up…   Read more»

Looking great. You’ve been very busy the last few days, you’re making me feel lazy I’ve hardly done any work on mine.

Hand sanding the radius, nearly there. Have to stop and get ready for music zoom then Acoustic Bliss.

I do like to do things the hard way. Radius the fretboard by hand. Can anyone spot the mistake.
Thanks to @darrenking for instruction on how to sharpen the Nielsen scraper blade I’m cooking on gas now.

Good job I still cut wood by hand like this as I don’t have room for big machines, so have great respect for other people who do it.
