So which kind of magic (aside from that cheap ass shitty piece of plastic) did you employ to cover that extremely well done neck tenon join? Do you want to know a secret @mattbeels??

My previous post was in reference to the bass pickguard. As was my reply @mattbeels! The bass pickguard is made from 2mm aluminium sheet. The one on the guitar looks pretty sweet as it enhances t...

RE: BYO-399

@mattbeels It was a joint effort - I had someone cut out the shape and cutouts (they had the tools to do that bit easily!) and I chamfered the edges and rubbed it to get the look.

Personally I don’t much care for pickguards, pickup frames or gold hardware I’m 100% with you on all of those @mattbeels. You get a beautiful piece of timber with some wonderful grain pattern, get i...

RE: Bridge Placement Conundrum - Telecaster or any really..?

The short answer is “thereabouts” because you have some fine adjustment available by moving the saddles back/forwards on the Tele bridge. I would set my saddles in the middle (ish) of their adjustment...

I’ve heard back from Deej. He’s OK, but has had to minimise screen time for a while, hence very little online time. Expect to see him back here in a week or three. 👍

Sometimes I really do think I'm putting your 'any idiot can build a guitar' theory to the test. That theory has been tested many times ... I've got the guitars to prove it 😋
