I'm a retired Assistant Principal and Teacher of Physics based in Northamptonshire, UK. I've been playing guitar for 40+ years. Upon retirement I spent a few weeks spread out over a year, working with a luthier - Andy Davidson www.andrewdavidsonguitars.com in Totnes, Devon. Here I made my first guitar which was a Torres Classical using native woods and traditional techniques. Since then I've gone on to make several more guitars both acoustic and electric. I've built up my workshop with lots of guitar making kit and I really enjoy spending time in there. My skills are developing but there is still room for improvement particularly finishing and inlay work. I'm pleased to be part of this community to share ideas and techniques.
