I’ve used crimson stains and their finishing oil...but I’ve used Danish, Liberon finishing oil, tung oil and True oil. They all have there advantages...
I’ve used stain and oil. It does lift some of the stain but if you leave long enough between drying and coats it usually comes out grand 👍🏻
