Course Base Price 2020 £1360 (set/bolt on neck) £1560 for Thru Neck  – 2021 prices to be confirmed

The booking fee reserves a place on a course – there might only be 2 places per course (depending on restrictions) so places for 2021 will be limited

You will also receive a Guitar Magic download or  DVD  and a Bailey/ GuitarMaking T & Hat, or the choice of a Bailey fleece, Polo shirt or Hoodie

This Booking fee is non returnable should you change your mind and decide not to come(but you keep the merchandise etc). We will ask for a deposit of at least 30% to turn the reservation into a firm booking – at least a month before the course starts or when it is fully booked, and the full balance (plus any upgrades) is payable before the end of the course. Payments can be made in regular installments or lumps, by a variety of methods – please ask for more info

Deposits/are only kept if course places are cancelled within a month of the start date and the place cannot be filled – we are happy to transfer the booking to other dates if unforseen circumstances occur

About This Course

A six day course min (set neck or bolt on) or 7-8 days( min basic thru neck), but will be offered over weekends throughout the year (Fri-Wed combinations). This is the course for those who want more scope for customisation and to make guitars with some extra spec items – eg own designs, carve top (adds a day), trem(adds a day), inlays(from a couple of hours to days !), midi etc . Each extra spec item will add time as well as some material cost and extra days are booked to make it possible. It may be that the 7 day Custom BYO courses run in the summer are more suitable. The base price is more but higher grade spec and options are built into the fee- eg laminated neck, inlay time, carving, thru neck etc

BUILD DATE OPTIONS : to be discussed and confirmed

COST 2020 : starts FROM £1350 bolt on/set neck (6 days min), £1550 Thru neck 7 days min   including all standard materials and parts (extra charges for upgrades etc),                                                                                    BUT 2021 prices are to be confirmed

B&B (ensuite) will be costed separately as it depends on your needs and what guitar you want to build. Currently B&B starts from £40 if required .

Self catering accommodation available locally, and for groups or families also -ask for information

ONE VISIT OPTIONS:

We are also offering the option of a BYOG course spread over 1 week so some upgraded projects can be completed in one visit. We have chosen 1-9th July (9th being the assembly day) so we would need to discuss your spec with you to make sure it can be completed in 6 or 7 days

For more complex projects you will need to choose the CUSTOM BYO course (7.5/8 days)

About this course

We will discuss with you dates available and your preferred timescale to start and finish your project – electric builds take place along side acoustics and can include any of the dates of other BYOG courses( and local weekend dates not listed on the shop- ask for more info)
