I am gutted, I am going to miss the last Livestream because I have to go veneer shopping!! I might try to tune in via my phone at some point but if I don't make it then Merry Christmas to one and all and I'll catch you in the forums over the break.

Wonderful closing rendition at close of Livestream!

This is what I was doing during the session.

Project: Electric Lady  'CR8' model

Genuine 'Driftwood' top to go onto Sycamore body.

The very dry, twisted mahogany plank has awesome patina from years of drifting the oceans.

The challenge was to level the backs to a similar  thickness (the ridges formed between plank sections on face of body is an intended feature) and square the edges for jointing - all without impacting on the weather beaten surface.

Hoping the salt won't affect the

What can I say? What a truly wonderful way to say thank you to all your members and supporters! Clearly heartfelt and very moving. It was the first thing that has made me feel in the least bit Christmassy this year so a huge thank you to you.

I hope you have a great Christmas day and I look forward to seeing you both soon, virtually or, hopefully, in real life at some point in 2021.
