@markbailey I did notice there are currently a lot of members online that don't look like your typical guitar builders.
I’ve currently got a new question stuck in Awaiting Moderation. Is this related?
Don’t like to jump to conclusions, but this recent sign up has a curious profile for a guitar builder ...

Hi guys, yes it's always an issue with public forums. We have done a lot to stop bot spam but humans can get past this and create accounts and posts etc which means we have to rely on moderators to clean it up.
The general idea for the spammers is to piggy back on a reputable site by adding links to theirs in it, thus boosting their own sites SEO, normally a gambling site or some such. This is why a lot of forums go private, behind a paywall, as spammers rarely pay.
Pain in the arse.
