I always start my builds by getting all the bits and pieces together, and putting them in a handy little box.

I have a standard build list, and tick things off as I put each bit, or piece, into the box.

How organised!

Invariably, by the time I get to final assembly, each of the bits has been taken out of the box a few times, to test fit, or check alignment, or whatever.  And I’ll *always* find that one (or more) of those bits has been put back into the box one less time than it was taken out …

But those are generally whole bits, not little pieces of bits like you’re now hunting for!

😟

@tv101 all the bits were in bags in a box but at some point I'd taken the trem out to check alignment with the new neck and that's when it must've fallen out. I pulled the pickups incase it was stuck to one but no, not there lol

I have a sneaking suspicion it landed in my slipper and I emptied it out somewhere else in the house! I emptied the hoover into a plastic box and went through all the dust, but no, not there yet at least lol
