As the title implies ... has anyone put some sort of pickup (an associated electronics) into an acoustic build?
If so, what did you use, how did you find the result?

I have little experience in quality or characteristics of pickup systems for acoustics so not a big help I am afraid. But I am interested in this too

And probably something that will use so few correct tools and techniques that you'll be crying on the floor ...
