Hey @boo. I'd certainly like to try and give it a go. I've always liked things where you can see the inner workings. I love old clocks where you can see it all going on inside....... I'd have to make sure all my wiring was very neat. 😋

They are just outrageously magnificent constructions aren’t they. That much perfection is out of my reach I’m sure. This stuff is like when I was a teenager watching my guitar heroes play guitar and then looking at the reality of my current skill level. It’s just never going to happen but one can dream. 

Flawlessly made and surely something else!!

@e-den-hertog I agree Edwin, they are not appealing to me either but I can admire the skill and level of workmanship involved in the construction. It would be interesting to play one and handle one, just to study it in close proximity but yeah I agree, ugly to me.

The overall aesthetics of Tao guitars don't click with me, though I wouldn't call them ugly as sin, there are much uglier guitars.
But the individual elements of their guitars are outstanding. 

They are even uglier than an Ibanez Talman.....

I’m not a Talman fan but I thought that Vol knob/output jack thing was kind of cool. The only thing I like about a Strat is the output jack plate, I absolutely love that thing! Ok, they are good sounding guitars but I never liked the look or feel of them. I do like the Tele though... 🤷🏼‍♂️

I agree about the Tao guitars, not my style but the craftsmanship is impeccable and that circuit looks like it was made by aliens!

I don’t want to come across as overly practical but, once you put it down, how the hell would you find it again?! 🤣 🤣 

That's a plus, the customer has to come back to you for a replacement.
