I'm Emmanuel Katto from Uganda, and I'm looking to start learning to play the guitar from scratch. Could you please share your suggestions and advice on how to begin? What are the essential steps and tips for a complete beginner like me?

Hi Emmanuel, I'm not very good at taking my own advice, but the trick is practice, practice, some more practice and then a little more practice.
The best advice is to get a guitar teacher. If you can't find one locally, they're plenty who do online classes, if you do that, try to find one with decent reviews.
There are some good resources online and on YouTube.
