Hi, I'm Sanjeev Mansotra new member of this community. Since childhood, I have loved to create things once I created a guitar with cardboard.

What are the easiest steps to create a guitar?

What size strings should I use?

The easiest and fastest way to make a guitar of your own would probably be to sign up for the course "Build you own electric guitar" on this site.

https://guitarmaking.co.uk/course/build-your-own-guitar-online/

I did that and followed the detailed instructions when I built my first guitar.

The easiest way to build a guitar is to follow Mark Bailey's step by step course. I followed the course and have now built three electric guitars. Now I'm following the acoustic course for my next build. Follow the links that others have posted for you and you won't regret it.

I'm surprised that no-one has yet suggested signing up for, and following, whichever of Mark's courses is relevant.

😉

That's a curious question to ask.  What were you thinking about that prompted that question?

Hi Sanjeev,

Take a look at the Shop on the web site, there’s details of the membership fees on there. You can pay either monthly or yearly, whichever suits you best. You can also see the courses available, though you won’t be able to see the content until you are signed up.

Mark’s courses are excellent, giving a step by step guide to building your own guitar. Just as an example, there are 75 lessons in the Build your own Electric Guitar course!! There are tools and equipment that you will need, so some financial outlay can be expected and some previous woodworking experience would be beneficial.

Welcome to this community and I wish you well in your guitar building journey.

All the Best,

Brian😃👍🎸
