The song is called 'Ik wil geen bier maar karnemelk" (I don't want beer but buttermilk) by Ingenieur Evert van der Pik (Engineer Evert van der Cock).
He was the sidekick of Sjef van Oekel in the Dutch television program "Van Oekel's Discohoek", a chaotic parody of Top of the pops.

My favouritw song today is from the Dutch band Supersister. Over here they were big in the seventies. This clip is from a reunion concert in 2000. Shortly after this reunion the flute player passed away and some years later the bass player also went to play in the band in heaven.

My favourite song today, yes another Dutch band. I went to a concert of them two weeks ago, they launched their new (first) album there. My connection with this band is that the bass player, Peter Gumbmann, was the bass player of my first two bands (I was a conga and timbales player in those bands). He's an excellent bass player, I wish I'd only have 10% of his skills. This video was recorded at the same venue a year ago, it was the first time I saw them.

One of the oldest Dutch band are The Bintangs. Founded 62 years ago in 1961 and still playing and touring. Over the years more than 40 different musicians played in the band. The only member of the original band is singer and bass player Frank Kraaijeveld.

My favourite song today by the Dutch band Fruitcake. When I first saw this clip I was a bit shocked to see the singer/guitarist Rob Taekema (who I've known for many years now) because of his short hair. I'always seen him with very ong hair. But then again, this clip is more than 40 years old...
