OK, it's Christmas time so this is my favourite song today:

My favourite song today is from a Dutch band again. The band only lasted a couple of years and had one small hit over here. Typical eighties sound, no guitars, no bass. But a ni=ce song nonetheless.

Dylan is a great songwriter, Hendrix was a great guitar player and this is a great cover.

One of the most iconic Dutch musicians was Heman Brood. A junky for most of his live and when he kicket the habit his body couldn't cope with that. At the age of 54 he took his own life by jumping from the roof of the Amsterdam Hilton.

More than 20 years ago I went to the Bailey workshop to build my first guitar. One evening Mark played a video of a guitar player I had never heard of, Tommy Emmanuel. I was blown away with it. Over the years, when he visited the Netherland I went to several concerts and every time I was blown away agan.

It's been a wee while now so I thought I'd start posting My Favourite Song For This Moment again.......
