I bought the Beautiful Freak album back in the 90s (?), and loved it @Russ.  Eels' output seems to have been a bit patchy since then though, some definite ups & downs.  I've not really bothered with his later stuff.

In celebration of just having managed to grab the Lizzy Legends Box Set ...

Hi @tv101. That was certainly their biggest hit album. Your right, he (Mark Everett) has dipped in and out of "the scene" over the years. I last saw them about 7 years ago. He is an extremely sharp-witted guy and talented person.

@tv101. I never managed to see Thin Lizzy with Phil Lynott but I did see them without him a few years ago with John Sykes on vocals.......not the same though. I did manage to see Gary Moore on a couple of occasions.......... once playing with Greg Lake.

Frank Zappa asked "Does Humor Belong In Music?" Well I say Yes! Frank was definitely one of the funniest. Scatterbrain were a talented bunch that grew out of the band Ludichrist in the early 90’s and this is one of my favorites that always takes me back!

My favourite song today is from a band that I think was more popular in Holland than in the UK. Saw them play ay the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam 1974.
