Today it's 28 years ago that my youngest son Jarmo was born. He was named after the Dutch trumpet player Jarmo Hoogendijk. Unfortunately he started having problems with his embouchure and after a botched surgery in 2004 his career as a trumpet player was over. I've met him several times, having a chat after concerts. A very nice guy.

For those interested in such things, I was playing my Dan Armstrong (London) through a Session Sessionette 75 for that erm... session.
The Dan Armstrong is very similar to a Bailey Bandsman, but with a low impedance pickup mounted on a sliding rail. Mahogany set neck, mahogany body, wraparound bridge etc.

Neither have I. But I increased the value of the others by sitting on my own original copy. Vinyl doesn’t like people sitting on it.
