I often listen to Reina's weekly-ish updates, but caught a 1hr retrospective yesterday.Β This was the first track played.Β I'm off to buy the album (Bandcamp).

The juxtaposition of the sweet little voice and the lyrics ... brilliant.

Thanks for sharing that Shocking Blue video @Marcel.Β Heard the track many times, but never seen the video, and never realised that they were Dutchish.
The were quite Dutch, although the singer Mariska Veres was the daughter of the Hungarian violinist and orchestra leader Lajos Veres. And I have not only heard the song many times, I've also played it many times and still do with one of my bands.

CherryRed delivered another batch of CDs last week. Β Iβll be working my way through them for a while, but I got stuck on this for a few repeat plays ...
Catchy, early-80s, power-pop (with a curious video)

I know this is hard to believe but I was chatting with Joni a few weeks ago on her fan page. I commented on her photo and she said message me direct, and we chatted for a while.
Some people call me a tool, others are less complimentary. Tools being useful things.

@rocknroller912 Woohoo 🥳 Look at you chatting up the stars. 🥰 Where are you taking her on your first date? 😀

Good for you though, itβs so cool when things like that happen unexpectedly. The internet is used for good sometimes. 👍
