The rest of the year I'm in a caravan on the Scottish west coast.

@robin Love that, it’s the kind of area we would want to be. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We have deer wandering through our garden too.  Pretty sure that a couple are pretty much resident here and that we've had at least one fawn born here.

Though "ours" are the semi-pest Muntjac variety rather than your proper ones!

That part of the coast is really beautiful.

These two grew up on the caravan site and were fairly tame when they were younger, they can be a bit aggressive sometimes now, they still come onto the site when there's not many people about.

It's very peaceful, apart from school holidays and weekends, we almost have the place to ourselves.

We see golden eagles most days and sometimes a sea eagle. There's sea otters, badgers, red squirrels and there are beavers about 10 miles away that were introduced as an experiment years ago. There's always something to see. I'm hoping the lockdown is going to ease and we'll get back there towards the end of April.

@robin Yeah, it sounds perfect. The only down side is the school holiday, we always book holidays out of season to avoid it.

I am missing nature and watching the wildlife, I’m so disconnected from it all right now. I have my garden here but there is nothing like getting out into the wilderness and just being part of it.

I will continue to dream. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Post some pics.

Whooops - don't ask for pics @clinton!!

(I sort of asked, in a roundabout and subtle way, but it didn't go down well 🤣 )

So here are a few “pics!” Man, taking photos of a room suuuucks, talk about akward. I actually shot a little vid a few days ago but I couldn’t seem to upload it. But that’s probably for the best as it ain’t exactly guitar related like half the fucking posts on this forum  so I can keep a clear  conscious!

Cheesy Peeps @mattbeels. That's got to be the best workspace I've ever seen. Germany certainly offer things of quality.

@mattbeels That is totally a great space you have there Matt, so cool. Can’t wait to see it all kitted out fully. And..... it is guitar related. If you didn’t have a place to work in, you couldn’t work on/build guitars. If something has the most tenuous link to guitars, we want to know about it. 😁👍

@boo

Me too! Although it’ll take a while. Like I said before it’s twice the space I had before but that’s a good thing! I’ll need to build some more benches and get some shelving plus I wanna have a cozy corner with a small sofa, coffee table and amps for customers. Oh ok, for me as well! 😆

Thanks Russ! To be honest it’s a rather normal room. At the moment it looks really great as I just painted it and the floors were sanded and oiled. The pictures are really making it sparkle especially the way the view outside is totally blue, it doesn’t really look like that! 😆 I never put filters on photos (on purpose) so that was a nice surprise.
