Hi Guys

I was so excited to get all the bits for my acoustic build that I made a little video...

I hope it's useful and/or a bit fun....

Cheers

Steve

Nice vid there @steveadams! It was a bit like watching Bruce Dickinson gettin’ all chuffed about his upcoming acoustic build! 😂🍻👍

Practice on scrap...

Brilliant video @steveadams!!

Did you go through the *whole* shop, saying “yup, I’ll have one of those too”??

Can completely understand your excitement.  Don’t wait too long to show us the woods too though ... keen to see what you’ve selected and what you’re going to be building.

😀 😀

Wow, Bruce has bought the whole shop! 😆

Well done @steveadams, I’m so pleased you are so excited about building your guitar, that’s what we like to see. So this is your new hobby, in between flying commercial airliners and fronting the greatest metal band ever, you will succeed sir. 🤘😁🤘🎸

Hey @tv101, @boo, @mattbeels, @russ

It's Bruce here!!!! ha ha...def dont mind being a duplicate for Mr Dickinson....

Part 2 is ready and will upload asap....I'll do my best to shoot some of the process and the mistakes, and I now there will be some...

Big question is whether it's safe to use the router with the long hair!!

cheers

Steve

@steveadams Just keep any long hair you have (wherever that may be on your body) away from the router. 🤣 No seriously 😐 Be careful with the other sharp tools as well, alway move the cutting edges away from you (you know all of this). 👍

Mistakes are what we all make and we make a point of advertising them on here so we can all have a laugh, share ideas on how to fix them and it leaves a record of them for others to see in years to come. It’s a database of mistakes and fixes.

@steveadams

The Ibex bending iron is great I’ve been using one for years, it does all types of instruments.

p.s. thicker masking tape is for thicker people so you probably won’t need it.

Some people call me a tool, others are less complimentary. Tools being useful things.
