Zip

Zip cable ties works well for binding. Bends easily.

Go to your local hardware store. The longest I got was 24 inches. Half a guitar body. I just do a precise square cut where they meet up. A little super glue and sanding and you cannot even tell. One thing to note, once installed do bot sand too much more than 2 mil on the top part of the binding. Otherwise, the ridges on the cable ties will start showing up.

I

I’m about to geain fill with aqua coat and ebony dust to prepare for final sanding and then finishing with Keda leather dye for the top and going batural for the bottom and neck. It will be coated with gloss polyurethane. I feel poly will be more forgiving for the grain of this White Oak Body and Neck. Asking for suggestions for color stain. Both will be the same exact color. Making for a good friend and asking it to be twins.
