@johnnierox-boo Have you lined the humbucker cavities with copper foil, or is that the colour of the wood. I haven't reached that stage, but I thought I'd only be lining the control cavity.
That's a good observation @robin.
I've never bothered shielding my self-builds, on the basis that, if Mark doesn't see the need, then I'm not sure there's a need.
I guess it'll depend in part on where you're playing - ie what the risk is of external interference - but I've never found it a real issue.
Perhaps a new discussion on "to shield or not to shield"?

@robin Yes, it is copper foil tape. @tv1010101 has just made a separate thread on this topic so look for “To shield or not to shield” for my explanation.

I wish @johnnierox-boo , it’s one of my friends who actually plays that way..no kidding. He used to watch his day play and mirrored while he watch. He can’t play it normally.
The guitar is one of my builds going through my Kemper
I have too many guitars...said no one in the world..ever!
I got the wiring done today and got through it without having to take a break to go and smash something up. Everything went well, with no buzzing or humming, I’m happy. I put everything together and all I need to do now is a setup and make a control cavity cover, which I forgot about to be honest. I’ll get some better pictures tomorrow in the daylight.
