@tv101 Yeah I know what you mean but you have to consider the depth of the neck pocket too. If the body was thinner, the neck would have to be thinner.

@boo - I think you misinterpreted what I meant 😉

 

Robin's body split because there wasn't enough thickness of the wall of the guitar once he'd hollowed out the cavities,  not because the body itself was too thin.  The neck pocket depth wasn't affected.

What is that paint job like?

Its got a good finish on it, feels a bit plasticy, I wonder if its been plastic coated, maybe powder sprayed/coated rather than painted.
