@boo thank you very much dude, I appreciate the support. Truly I do.

I introduced it at a music festival this past weekend. The festival promoters thought it best to wait until a couple of bands had played to give time for the rest of the bands to arrive for the day’s music. I was on the stage in front of everyone with it still in the case giving them the back story on it. After that I bent down, opened the case with the lid towards the crowd, strapped it on behind the case lid then stood up. A loud gasp was heard from the entire crowd then they applauded and yelled and screamed. I can play a little bit I was so damned nervous I couldn’t play shit. Oh well, stage fright I suppose. We’ll stage fright coupled with my thoughts on how I can’t play. 🤦🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

@rathius Ahh the old stage fright. Yeah, it’s awful isn’t it? I’ve not played in front of a crowd for a long long time and I still can’t stand the idea of doing it again. I can play a little bit but whenever anyone asks me to play something, I can never think of anything to play or if I do, I can’t do it well, I just freeze.
Well, at least you got a Wow! and a cheer from the crowd. 🤘😜🤘🎸

Very unique body shape and I like the color. Nicely done. Is that an inlay on the horn?

@wayne_f yea it is. It’s white mother of pearl in celluloid so it soaks up the stain too. And that’s my first attempt at inlay. Figured why not, right? After all, this is a first in itself so why just keep adding firsts. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi @rathius,

Nice job! It looks almost exactly like one that a friend of mine had back in the 80’s, same colour, pretty much identical shape, you’ve made a great copy! Where did you see the original?

Only joking!!! If ever there was a one off, you have it there and it looks great. How does it sound?

Cheers

Darren

@darrenking sounds much better than expected. I’ll do a video soon,  I’ve just been enjoying playing it. I honestly play better than I ever have. Well it feels like it anyway 🤣 I’m also going on what my wife has said.
