Decided to build close to a classic 62 design minus the skunk stripe truss rod method. I had a full scale plans of this for years and never attempted til now. Glad I did. It is for a friend who is always giving a helping hand and someone you can count on when the tough gets going.
@boo Thank you. Not quite sure the best. Quite a number of things I need to improve on still. I think that is the reason we build and build @mattbeels. So we learn from minor and major mistakes and to not repeat it the next time around. The main part of my enjoyment in building is the journey of endless discoveries and light bulb moments that unravels and the knowledge of knowing. I plan to build up until my old age and honestly looking forward to my retirement and focus more as a guitar maker and much much thanks to Mark for all of this.
@mattbeels Actually have finished several more. Pics and videos to come.

@clinton Me too, exactly the same thing. @markbailey et al, and everyone here in the forum keep me tuned in and ready for more all of the time. When I'm not making guitars, I'm thinking about making them or playing them, it's a way of life for me now. I'll keep going until I can't go on because of old age (if I get that old).
Keep going my friends, let's keep each other going. ✊

@mattbeels Yes I did, I tagged the wrong person. Well, not the wrong person but……. Oh you know what I mean. 🙃
@clinton I look forward to seeing more builds from you. From you also Matt. 🤘🙂

G&L Top Loading High Mass Bridge. Really high saddles requiring a shallower neck pocket than a standard Fender. It’s at 14mm string height. Close to a tune o matic. Most important lesson “Check twice cut Once”. One of several builds.

@clinton Yeah that’s interesting about the bridge height, it always pays to check the measurements of everything. Nice work with this Tele, as usual. 👍
