Wanted to try something different, yew and resin for top, fretboard and headstock plate. Mahogany neck, limba body. CF rods added in the neck. Running the iron gear dirty torque blues engine set. I was hoping to fit my Seymour hot rodded set but the trembucker are a weird size. Longer and narrower so regular covers don't fit let alone frames.

Did the pickup inserts and headstock pattern with the laser and even managed to engrave the slot and screw holes for the switch. Couldn't cut it but could engrave right through lol. Original german made floydrose made in the schaller factory plus schaller tuners.

@nsj Another masterpiece Neil, love the way the wood and resin in the centre carries on through the pickup covers, how did you manage that?👌🎸👍

@brie lasered them, had to drill where the resin is though because it's blue and my laser is a diode type, but I made templates when practicing with ash. Started with paper till it was spot on, then ash wood.

@brie Router sled and a laser, it was actually pretty easy. The lightburn software for the laser is brilliant too
