“Blue Jean” A semi hollowbody Bandsman build

This has given me an idea.

The plans for a 335 course are cool, but 335s are a bit big, and a bit.. Gibson.

How about a 335 meets Bandsman design @markbailey?

Welcome back Deej. Just want to say, thanks for all your advice, suggestions and insights. Truly helped me out tons, along with TV101 as well. You folks made it all possible for me when I was just starting out. Thank you.

The ‘not f hole’ was inspired by one from a Rickenbacker - but the other way round….

Measure once........
Measure again.........

And is much better design as far as I'm concerned!

I still don't think that the vintage f-hole design looks "right" on a (relatively) modern electric guitar.  It's too ornate and fiddly as a shape when the rest of a guitar's body is smooth curves or straight lines. 

Whereas the shape that you've used fits far better in the overall shape/design.
