@brie that sounds like a plan! When I did my bad thing, I didn’t want to change the shape of the body, but reshaping is always an option. @nsj is correct and has much more experience than me, I just…   Read more»

@brie, I feel you you, man! I had a router booboo at a similar point. Although your area is larger, I’m not certain if the tear out is any deeper than mine?

@brie thanks Brian. I’ve found the whole process so much fun albeit with a step learning curve!
It’s not perfect, but what I learnt from making the mistakes and how to rectify them is invaluable.
Do it, man, it will be great!

I was expecting a bang, or at the very least a FIZZZZZZ-POP @brie.  This is the first time I’ve attempted anything like this. But, it was a painless and bangless experience!  Have a look at ampmaker.com and particularly the build…   Read more»

@brie Nice job man, you’ve broken the seal now, no going back. 😆👍

Welcome @brie

@brie Welcome Brian, I look forward to seeing what you come up with. Building guitars from scratch will increase your addiction, be careful it doesn’t bankrupt you. 😆  Seriously though, just have fun and enjoy the learning process, you’ll soon…   Read more»
