@kalimar If the piece is long enough, you can cut off a piece to glue to thicken headstock or do a scarf joint. It is done all the time.

@jamesbisset The cutaway is not quite cut yet. Major but Minor adjustment it seems like and it is your only recourse with a slight adjusting of the humps.

@timc I shortened my neck screws before and for some reason decided to cut it on a slight angle as opposed just straight flat. In fear that it will not grab accordingly into the pilot holes drilled...

Answer to: Double (sided tape) Trouble

I coat all my MDF templates with lacquer or sanding sealer. Prevents damage from double sided tape.
