Hello! All I can say is I am excited to get going on this journey, especially as proper power has now been laid in to my shed of dreams. This is really my retirement project. It's been many, many years since i undertook any serious woodwork so no doubt will end up asking many questions, some intelligent and maybe some less so, but I get the impression this is a friendly space with lots of help available. So far I am shocked to see I have made patterns that actually look like they will fit together to make a guitar. We shall see.....

Hi and welcome to the group, enjoy the journey!!

Normally I’m to be found in Northeast Scotland but by a strange coincidence I’m currently very near High Wycombe!! Looking forward to heading north again and resuming my own build.

All the Best,

Brian.

Thank you everyone for your welcome. So far i have learned two things. The first is that if I keep my workspace clean my wife now thinks I need to apply this principle to he house! The second is that i have already developed a centre line paranoia. 🤣

@stephen-hayes

Housework can earn brownie points which can be spent on guitar building time🔨🎸🤣

As for the centre line paranoia, I find regular medication helps🍻👍🤣

Welcome @stephen-hayes

There usually is lots of helpful answers in this forum. One thing I have learned this year is to make mistakes look like intentional design features.  😀

Looks like I'm a bit late to this welcome party.

But, welcome @stephen-hayes - good to have another traveller on this journey.
