The neck taper jig is just a long thing with a two straight but not quite parallel edges – you can use it for any scale length and different nut widths………

My finished Bandsman body is 325mm x 310mm – lost 5mm somewhere……
It is quite a small guitar – especially compared to my Firebird that has a slightly shorter scale…..

This one does solvents – did some priming on a pedal and it kept out the smell from a rattle can.
 

This is for dust – again does what it says on the tin.

I have two – both from Screwfix – one for dust and one for solvents – both have replaceable filters – the dust one was £25 and the solvent one £35.

Just managed to catch some of today’s show – the course looks brilliant – guessing there will be domestic strife when we are all hatching the course for the third or fourth time when we should be doing Christmas!
 

It is a very simple guitar – suppose only something like a Les Paul Junior is simpler….
Maybe Teles don’t compete with the outfit?

Looks really good!
I like Teles – like the twang – also a lot of rock classics recorded on a Tele – JP used on on Led Zep 1 – the bridge pickup with some gain really cut through.

They are pretty secure as well – we have a couple of 20’ ones at work as stores – they need insulation adding and heating/cooling, both of ours get very warm in bright sunshine – I guess 3”x4” frame boarded…   Read more»
