Ayr has always been a good place for live music. When I lived there in the 70s every weekend was solid music sessions from end of work on Friday to Sunday night closing time. -

I’m hoping to do a course sometime if they ever start again. Only about two hours for me and as long as the parking is motorbike friendly.

I think that a common theme with professional musicians, they have never got any money and usually manage to get things for free because people feel sorry for them. I’ve just traded a job for free jazz guitar lessons. -

The owner had varnished the back of the neck with ordinary polyurethane several years ago and he wanted it back to bare wood and re-sprayed. The varnish I had to scrape off was thicker then the FB. -
