@darrenking i think one problem with scaling down the whole guitar to a smaller size would be string thickness and tension. A standard set of strings would be too slack tuned to standard pitch with a shorter length. Thicker strings… Read more»

@bpower Looks like a bad crack on the ribs under the neck joint. Factory made guitars can be a nightmare to take apart due to the type of glue used. The wood often splinters. I would try and inject some… Read more»

Im in Scotland and it’s still in the lower 60s though the day, close to freezing some nights. Holiday sounds good I’ve been to America a few times in hot weather -

Mark uses Titebond original the yellow one. I don’t use it though I prefer water based hot glue for anything that I might want to take off for any reason. -
