@tv101 Have to agree with you about unplugging the router, they don’t usually have a no volt release switch just a simple on/off so there is always a chance that residual charge could be left in the router if it… Read more»

Well, I’m guessing that the template slipped? @tv101 No, actually the template stayed in place. The main template that gets stuck down to the work piece is the outer part, it has a hole cut in the middle to house… Read more»

@tv101 for sure. Going from that rectangular block to a neck carve that I really love felt so satisfying! I like asymmetrical necks so I was kind of concerned about how it would turn out since this was my first… Read more»

@tv101 does make a valid point here. The unique thing about the Bagpress templates is that each has several scales, which is pretty bitchin’ if you ask me. I’m really interested in using a zero fret on some builds, and… Read more»

@tv101 As was my reply I posted that before I saw your reply, you were fast though! The question you have to ask re the guitar pickguard is “how did that neck tenon join disappear?” Yes, you are correct. My… Read more»

My previous post was in reference to the bass pickguard.
The one on the guitar looks pretty sweet as it enhances the color. What kind of *cheap piece of shit* plastic did you use? 😂
I’m guessing a translucent red?

I also do that. Even though on my router it would be quite difficult to hit the switch while changing bits I’ve always unplugged it while doing so. I don’t take any chances with that particular job. -
