What an adventure! At least the guitar was a gift in the first place, maybe that made it easier to deal with the mistake?

I like your thicknessing jig, I’ve been watching a lot of woodwork vids lately to get ideas for planing and such as I don’t have those big ass tools nor the access to the maker space (which is a two minute walk from my house!) at the moment due to something called Covid 19.
