I’d offer to help you with that @boo - but the shortbread and beer is poisonous (gluten) and I never managed to develop a taste for whisky, despite numerous distillery tours in years gone by ...

@boo - there are a few GF beers about now (though not generally in pubs - not that that matters these days!), else it’s cider, wine, vodka, brandy, cognac, port .... 

Not generally in the same glass though.

Sometimes not even in the same evening!

Right, I’ve seen GF beers in my local shop but never tried them. 

I’ve always drunk everything with no problems but in recent times I’ve discovered I just can’t handle big sessions any more, that’s age related though. I had been on the wagon for a couple of months or so until the Christmas period hit. I definitely feel better for it and I have lost weight. It also frees up money to save..... (only kidding, I spend it on guitar parts of course) 

I do, however, think we should all have a get-together (or many) for a laugh, to talk about our amazing hobby (obsession) and a good few drinks when covid allows.
