Active Member Finally im practically ready to begin the good bit.
just one question how think should the workboard shim be !
as I have a couple of thicknesses available, im thinking maybe 5mm

Hi @alancoffey
I used standard hardboard for my shin and it turned out great. The U.K. hardboard is 3mm.

Illustrious Member Hi @alancoffey. On Mark's Acoustic Build Course he makes his out of standard hardboard which as Deej said is 3mm thick. I imagine 5mm would work too.

Active Member thanks guys really helpfull first post so a bit unsure how to use
i wasnt sure if the board thickness was related to the radious,so that clears that up
