Hi folks,

Still going through all the videos once. Noticed the 3-way Gibson style switch.

Is a 5 way switch just as easy? Will it even fit in the body? Otherwise, I think I'll be ordering a 3 way and maybe a push pull for splitting my neck pickup.

@kalimar My five cents. I would recommend a Gibson style three way switch if not using a pickguard to mount a 5-way in. The top needs to be very thin for a 5-way switch to work properly. But it can be done of course.
Figure out what your desired pickup combinations are before deciding which switch(es) are needed.

Thabks swerpi - the back story is that before the course I was trying to design my own prototype (with zero knowledge 😂) and have pickups and switches etc. Was hoping to reuse them here. However I think I'll just hold on to them and purchase electronics that will make my life easier for a first build

@kalimar Yes, it's probably smart to make the first build as easy as possible. You can always use the redundant stuff in your future builds 🙂
