Pulled all the masking off and it’s ready for clear coat. It all looks a bit flat and lifeless right now but it will all pop when the clear coat goes on. ✨✨✨✨✨

It’s starting to pop now with a couple of coats of clear on. ✨✨✨✨

Spent a couple of hours sanding this batch of clear coat flat, ready for flow coats. 

Finally got this Jimi Strat in its flow coats today. It can cure for a couple of weeks before the final flat and polish. I’ll shut up about it now until I’m putting hardware on it.

Is that a 10 litre tin, that certainly won't be cheap.

@robin It is indeed and it wasn't cheap. 300 smackers.

It's actually to treat the external timber cladding on the house but I will be steeling a bit for a couple of guitars. Our house is clad in a hardwood called Abodo, it's from New Zealand. It's so hard and dense, it takes some drilling through I'll tell you. 

@boo love what you’ve done with this. Plus purple and gold are my alma mater colors. 😁

@rathius and all, I do have more pictures of my progress with this build, I thought I’d updated but obviously not. 
I’ve still not completed this build but it just needs putting together. It’s all in bits in a box somewhere after our house move. I’ll get it out and get it finished soon but until then, this is the general look of it.
