I’ve got a mahogany Tele body with humbucker routing, however it’s the dog-eared kind (see image).
I think I want gold foil pickups and want them to fit flush - will they need to have a casing? Apologies at this basic query - never built a humbucker guitar before. Any tips or hints appreciated.

Mojo pickups do a set of humbucker size gold foils for £200, not sure if mounting rings are included but if they’re not Axtec do metal mounting rings for humbuckers.😃
