Do you do big Gibson style inlays before  radiusing a fretboard or after?

How thick should the inlay material be?

Measure once........
Measure again.........
Sod it - make tea!

Level and Radius the fretboard to 80g before inlaying.

Inlay material is generally about 1.5-2mm thick - depend what it is and where you get it from. Rare to find Mother of pearl or Abalone thicker than 2mm.

Measure twice, cut once...
