I have just found this succinct introduction to some neck profile shapes and I thought it would be a good basic overview for those that are not aware of it.
It’s a starting point for any further research.

Has anyone come across any 3D modelled neck files anywhere? They must be out there somewhere given how long CNC machining has been around and how many guitars are built every ear. Desperately trying to avoid having to learn Rhino 3D!
