I recently bought a used but mint copy of the Cumpiano and Natelson book which Mark recommended a few weeks ago during one of the live YouTube events.
It’s certainly a great book. The only thing I wish is that it covered the traditional dovetail neck joint for steel string guitars as well as the simplified version in the book.
That said, I wonder if there’s a similar recommendation for the best book om making electric guitars, preferably covering solid bodies, semi-solids, and arch tops.

I'm not sure that there is one book that covers all styles.
The usual "bible" for electrics is Melvyn Hiscox's book. That looks very old by today's publishing standards (b&w photos, etc), but the content remains valid and correct. I've heard, from the man himself, that there's a new version of that book due out, but don't know when.
I think Mark's other comment was along the lines of buy as many as you can, read them all, and there's always something to learn in all of them! But I guess that depends on how much money and time you have available!!

@rdenatale You might think this could be a joke but it’s actually very good. There is a forward from Brian May who, as we all know, famously built his own guitar with his dad. I’ve put a picture of the ISBN number in too. Happy hunting!

@rdenatale This book, that @tv1010101 has already suggested, is comprehensive and essential reading. Happy hunting!

@deej Yep, iPads are invaluable these days, so practical in all locations, especially the workshop. I remember when I was building my bandsman at home, the online course was right there in my workshop as I went along.

I was a little worried when I saw the domain name of the host ... but my iPad still seems to be working OK.
And I've only had to enter my bank details, mother's maiden name, date of birth, and CVV number on a few sites ...
