Hi Folks,

I took up guitar making when I retired a few years ago. My first guitar was a classical acoustic that I made under the guidance of Andy Davidson, a luthier in Totnes, Devon. I spent a few weeks with him over the course of a year making the guitar from scratch with minimal tools. That experience set me up with the confidence to start making on my own guitars in my small workshop in Northamptonshire.

I've now made three acoustic instruments and three electrics with varying sucess. I look forward to following the progress of others on here and perhaps picking up tips and ideas.
