Welcome @nossair. Good to have you here.  Nice shape guitar. Is that a metal scratch plate and did you make it yourself?

🙏🎸🙂🎶

Welcome @nossair

Be interested to see your other builds, and also to hear about what timbers you have available out there!

thank you guys for the welcome.

@russ it is not metal, it's formica (well it's called formica in french)

@tv101 i mainly use sapele for body and neck and wenge for fretboard i can also find padauk and walnut but the shops are not specialised in guitar making and i don't know if the humidity is the right one.

@robin here are the 2 others the third one i gave to my cousins daughter she wanted to start playing both of these are chambered

Very interesting choice @nossair. I've never thought of using it. We call it Formica too but mainly used for kitchen worktops. 😂

Hello. One day my wife and I planned to go to Casablanca. But fortunately, before the trip, we managed to get a divorce. 🙂

@jozefbehr

Welcome to the forum. Do you have any experience of guitars or local instruments that are played in your country.
