Hello everyone.

I'm Phil from Gloucs and over the last 18 months I've slowly been turning into a sawdust addict 🙂

(Great forum - nice to discover a community that's UK based and not built around YouTube comments.)

Cheers

Welcome @rockpile99

and not built around YouTube comments

Most of the comments are in the YT chat ... just wait til Mr B and the Lentil Lady emerge from hibernation

Welcome Phil. I'm fairly new to all this so you're ahead of the game as far as I'm concerned.

Cheers,

Russ

Hello Phil

I'm also a fairly recent convert and still on my first build. I wouldn't describe myself as an addict, I can stop this any time I want, once iv'e built the next Bailey kit that iv'e already bought.

Hey Phil @rockpile99 welcome to the forum and the guitar building revolution. Things will heat up again soon when Mark and Carol unleash their latest ideas. None of us here are absolute experts, we all make mistakes and hopefully learn from them but we have this forum and @markbailey (our resident expert) to guide us in the right direction. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses so you will get help from all of us too. The more you get involved, the more you will learn and the better you will become at guitar building. Rock n Roll.

Make guitars, not war 🌍✌️🎸

Hello

I saved up 4 quarts worth of ebony sawdust from planing. I am quite a newbie as well, welcome.

Thanks Clinton

I've bagged the dust on every fretboard so far - it's come in handy for fixing my cock-ups when inlaying fret dots..
