ty guys , never built a guitar before so should be interesting 😀 , can anyone suggest a good place to buy wood for a body . ive seen the blanks on here but i was wanting to glue some pinstripes into the body

That would not be easy - usually you would only do that to use up smaller pieces of wood i.e.laminating the body. Not recommended especially for a first build. It is MUCH easier to start from a solid body blank...

I have done two courses with Mark but when I built my first at home I bought a (slightly customised) kit from Mark - all the bits were the correct thickness and nice and true.

Measure once........

im looking at the kit , i think im gona get that and make my first. would love to do a course but there very expensive. is it possible to make a guitar of better quality than say a Gibson with a kit at home ?

nice one thank you , im gonna see about maybe saving up or something and get down for a cbyo , but for now ill make my baritone tele with duel emg's and see how good i can get that finished

Apart from the sound hole and some extra routing it is a stock Bandsman built from the online course.
